You don’t even need a special undercoating for AmeriWall™ enclosures. Simply install the enclosures over moisture-resistant sheetrock, greenboard or other solid-surface building materials. After you complete plumbing and sheetrock work, AmeriWall™ enclosures are ready for installation.

AmeriWall window kits have a sill piece and two side pieces and are designed to be installed over a window frame that is flush to the sheetrock. The sills are available in the following sizes and should correspond with the inside width of the window frame:16", 24", 30", 36", 42" and 48". The side pieces are manufactured in one 48" piece, which is then cut to match the height required for the side of the window. The sill and side pieces are designed to be glued to a window frame that has been striped, is relatively smooth and has a minimum inset depth of 2". Both the sill piece and the side pieces have a rounded bull nose that extends over the surface of the edge of the window sill, window sides and the enclosure wall.
